Good looks, good income, etc. Are all this enough? In spite of all these qualities, many people are still clueless on how to impress people. What is the point in good education when you don’t know how to draw people’s attention!. Don’t worry people!. Here are some easy tips on how to impress people in just 5 minutes of conversation.

1.FOR GOD’S SAKE, WEAR GOOD SHOES!
People make shoe contact before eye contact. If your footwear is disappointing, there’s no use of that perfect shirt or that pretty dress.Winners start from the bottom right? So? Start with footwear first. Trust me! This always helps.
2.LOOK INTO THEIR EYES WHILE TALKING
Your eyes can reveal many aspects of your personality. Whether you are confident or you are hiding something can be easily revealed from your eyes. If you can hold someone’s gaze, you are more likely to connect with them on a personal level.

A Beautiful Love Story That Touched My Heart

A guy met a girl online, and gradually began to chat to each other regularly and became good friends.

After a few months, they expressed their love for each other. They were happily in love for a few weeks, until one day suddenly the girl stopped responding to the guys messages. He waited and waited ..
Weeks passed, and he still sat by his internet awaiting her message, but nothing..
He was scared something had happened to her, his heart felt like it did but eventually he accepted the fact that their relationship was over. He was heartbroken .. He cried himself to sleep everyday reading her old love messages.
After a few years, he had just started university. After all this years, he stayed away from girls because he couldn’t stand the heartbreak, but one girl took his fancy.
A beautiful women, it was weird as he never even looked at girls before, but there was something special about her. So he approached her, but was rejected instantly.
Boy: I’m sorry, if I offended you by saying I liked you.

If A Woman Has These 10 Qualities You Should Never Let Her Go

A woman who is in love will never think twice about making her man happy. Majority of women will show their love and care by being givers. If you have a woman in your life who is always prepared to do anything she can to make you happy, make sure you never lose her.

Even though good women are hard to find, they do exist. If she has the following qualities hold her tight because she will change your life in a good way.
Frequently doing little things for you
At the beginning of the relationship men are usually romantic and caring towards their women however it is very important to always treat your woman like that no matter how long you are together. A woman who values what you do for her is the right one for you.
A great sign that you should keep her is if she is always prepared to do little things just to see you smile and happy without having any expectations.
Being smart or smarter than you
A man needs a smart woman to organize his chaotic life. She can help give meaning to your life while preventing you from making bad decisions.

MY WISH FOR YOU THIS NOVEMBER

Happy New Month!

Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof. God who has brought you from the beginning of this year to the tail end is able to fulfill all his promises for your life.
Keep your faith strong, your hope high and your joy level undiminished.
As we take on this new month of November, let hope be your watchword.
Act in faith, believe that all things are possible for you and as you think in your heart, so shall it be for you. Do not let anything weigh you down, the fact that you are alive today is enough to give thanks to the Almighty God.
Remember the bible says to everything that is joined to the living, there is hope. Stop believing the lies of the devil and the saying of the haters, believe what God says about you and sooner or later, all your dreams, and aspirations will come to fulfillment.
Everything will flow and nothing shall stand still!

8 things women carry in their bags

You may have seen city women carrying those huge bags. Those bags, so huge they could fit a whole kitchen plus a small bedroom.
Here are the 8 things you are likely to find in these bags:
1. Lipstick… but which lip?
Lips that cannot pronounce Ecclesiastes.
2. Lubricating baby oil
3. Holy herb
Some women carry the ‘holy herb’ (bangi) as Police hardly search for such items in their bags, while others – mostly those in college – carry weed cookies which can relieve menstrual pain.
4. Spoons and forks
This is common among career women stuck in eight-to-five office jobs with alpha males who lose office utensils every time they visit the kitchen. No woman can ruin her manicure by eating with bare hands. What is more, forks can be used as weapons.
5. Super glue and tissue
Women need not call 999 over a broken nail or heel when super glue can do the trick. Tissues are used for wiping in the toilet.
6. Rubber
There is no way you won't see a rubber band in a lady's bag.
7. Safety pins
These are a lifesaver if you pop a
button or a seam. Also, a small one can pinch-hit for a necklace clasp if it suddenly breaks.
8. Extra earring backs
There's no hack for a lost earring
back. You either have a spare or you don't.

Nigerian Man Buys South African Man A G-Class To Apologise For Impregnating His Wife

A Nigerian man based in South Africa says he does not regret buying a Mercedes-Benz G-class for a South African man as a token to apologise for impregnating his wife. “I know what I did is wrong but I feel better now that he has accepted my gift. He accepted that his wife, my girlfriend, is pregnant and will soon give birth to my son. He was angry at first but when I presented the car to him his anger vanished,” said the man who identified himself as John.
One source close to the family of the woman who fell pregnant said that she knew about the affair but never thought it would lead to a pregnancy. She said "She is disappointed the husband accepted the Mercedes-Benz from the Nigerian national".
“Nigerian men will never take our men seriously. What kind of a man accepts a gift from a man who impregnated his wife? He will impregnate her again and buy the stupid husband another car. I am so disappointed,” she said.
When approached for a comment the husband said “it is wrong to say I am stupid. The point of the matter is we cannot reverse what happened. We sat down as men and sorted the issue. The Bible says we must forgive and forget. I have always dreamed of driving a G-wagon. Christmas came early for me and my family,” said the husband who didn’t want to be named. “The baby will be born and I’ll take care of him as my own. If the father wants to take him to Nigeria I wouldn’t mind. I will give my wife the support she needs always. That is what marriage is all about. I love my wife and will not leave her because of a mere pregnancy,” he added.

BRAIN TEASER

LET'S SEE HOW TECHNICAL YOU CAN THINK!!!

THE PRICE OF PERFECTION

Gold may depreciate, stocks rise or fall, and business values change so as to leave the market in panic, but every man on the street or in the store knows that one value forever remains permanent, unvarying, and that is character. Every other asset may be swept away and success still achieved if this remain; every other aid may be at its best and failure only await him who lacks the wealth of character.
Character is that of which reputation is but the echo, often mistaken and misleading. Character is the last, the ultimate, value of life. It is the trend of the whole being towards the best. It is the passion and power that holds one true despite all persuasion. It is the one thing worth having, because upon it all other values depend. This asset comes not to a man by accident.
He who is rich in character, whose success in many ways is built upon his resources in this way, does not just simply happen to be good, true, and square.
There is a price to character; it costs more than any other thing, for it is worth more than all other things.

Essentially it never is inherited, but always acquired by processes often slow and toilsome and at great price.
If you would be perfect you must pay the price of perfection.
Unless the passion of life is this perfection it never will be your possession.
Dreams of ideal goodness only waste the hours in which it might have been achieved.
No man ever finds character in his sleep.
The education of the heart is a thing even more definite than the education of the head.
The school of character has an infinite variety of courses and an unending curriculum.
This does not mean that this prize of eternity falls only to those who devote themselves wholly to self-culture, to the salvation of their own souls. The best lives have thought little of themselves, but they have lived for the ends of the soul, to help men to better living, to save them from the things that blight and damn the soul.
Like the Leader of men they have found the life unending by laying down their lives, paying the full price, selling all in order that right and truth and honour and purity, love and kindness and justice might remain to man.

Motivational: Is Marriage really a Must?

"I love the freedom I have.
I can wake up anytime I want
I can eat whatever I want
I so love it!
Then comes that one person
Telling me I need to brace up
Trade my freedom for a partner
Share my space and my heart
Create a new family
Love them more than life…..
Though I could imagine this happening
But still I wonder……………
Is marriage really a must?"
.
.
There are so many single men and women who ask this question. After talking to them, one thing becomes apparent—their question was borne out of their past experiences. To every single person who is fed up of going into relationships (not because
they enjoy being alone but) because they’re tired of trying, I’ve got one answer for you: “Yes it is!”
Marriage is a must for every matured single except in cases that has to do with religious or secular beliefs. You need to cling to hope. Everyone is entitled to find a significant “other” that fills their lives with companionship, romance, support and love. This is why I am emphasizing this—yes, marriage is a must!
I remember a single Muslim sister I met few years ago. She was 34 years old and had been single since she was 30. According to her (although you could even see it all over her) she grew up in the UK and US. I learnt from her that all the few single men that came a bit close to her were not interested in her because they felt that she’s too westernized for them and most of those who are in her age group were already married. Of course she wears a scarf every time she's in public but after speaking with her, I noticed she’s also social in an acceptable way and very jovial.
On the outside she lives her life like she's independent and does not care about marriage but she opened up to me that she still has that strong hope that one day she’ll meet a good single Muslim guy that would love her the way she is and ask for her hand in marriage. So also we have single Christian sisters
who have been devoted in service to God. Most brothers in their churches either feel they are too spiritual or they are not social enough and therefore prefer to go in search of a lady to get married to outside the church.
In a situation like this, the lady may eventually realize she’s not getting younger and therefore begin to question the necessity of the institution called marriage.
Marriage should not be questioned. It is a very important aspect of everyone’s life. Biblically, the reason why marriage is important is because it is for companionship, procreation of children, mutual societal helps and comfort that
one ought to have for the other, both in prosperity and adversity. Marriage was ordained as a remedy against sin and to avoid fornication. This is why most
pastors or counselors advice matured singles to get married and avoid indecent sex, involvement in immoralities and to prevent jumping from one bed to the other.
There are so many singles who believe marriage is just as insecure as relationships. They do not want to be tied down by a piece of paper because they’ve been cheated in past relationships. You need to know that marriage is not about two people. It involves the two
families, lineage, history, culture and ethnicities. Your union is the connector that brings these elements together.
Marriage is also based on religion
whether you are a religious person or not, its laws are governed by religion in one way or the other.
Marriage is also important because whether you like it or not, it actually gives you security. It is to hold husbands accountable for a wife. I’m not saying marriage licenses are romantic but they are meant to hold people accountable for one spouse and any children conceived of that union.
Marriage gives you a title better than a live-in girlfriend, baby mama or baby daddy. It gives you a name to be respected in public and society at large.
Some people are running away from marriage because of the rate at which divorce is rising. Know today that marriage is not the cause of divorce.
What most people are ignorant of is that 9 out of 10 couples who cohabit before getting married are at a higher risk of divorce, therefore, I also do not encourage living with that man before you’re married to him.
As singles don’t say because you are already a live-in girlfriend/boyfriend, marriage is no more important. That does not guarantee your security. It also
does not stop you from getting
heartbroken. Matured singles should keep their hope alive and focus their eyes on the goal
which is to eventually get married.
Wish you luck in your relationships……..
Pray the good one eventually leads to marriage!
Cheers.. 🍻

Check Out This Woman's Advice On Punishing A Cheating Man

Weeks ago, a post made by a Nigerian woman trended on social media where she advised her fellow women to cook with menstrual blood and serve their men to eat as punishment for cheating.
This week, yet another Nigerian woman took to Facebook to share her idea for Punishing cheating men.
She wrote, “If your man is cheating on you, don’t argue with him my sister because you will not win. Save yourself from High blood pressure…. Just change all the names of the girls on his phone…Do not delete the numbers…
Mix them… Replace Wunmi with Kubura… Modupe with Vicky… Yetunde with Iyabo….so on and on.
Wait the moment he’s gonna call or sms them one by one… Make yourself a cup of coffee and relax… You’ll thank me later".

Marital Failure or Fraud?

As a bachelor that I am, I went to the foodstuff store to get some foodstuffs (Don't ask me what I bought, amebo), as the level of the ones in my cupboard has decreased. I met a woman there who was buying some foodstuffs. Afterwards, she began to connive with the trader. The following conversations ensued between them.
Trader: Madam, the total cost is #7500
Woman: OK, have it. But one more thing, I'm going to tell my husband that I owe you a balance of #5000. In case he passes by and gives you the money. Kindly collect it, keep it for me and any day I come here, I'll have it from you.
Trader: OK madam, no problem
Woman: Good bye

The woman weakened me..

SUCCEED IN SEPTEMBER!

What Direction In Life Should You Take?

It’s a new month, yay! Happy new month dear family. May all your dreams come true this new month and may all your endeavours end in success. My prayer for you is to have cause to smile everyday of this new month.
We have four months until the year 2017 ends, and some of you may still be wondering: ‘What direction in life do I take?’
I got a few tips from nuggets I read. It made a lot of sense and so I thought to share.
Here’s what to do if you need to find the right direction in life…
1. Stop over thinking.

So much of our stress and anxiety about the future stems from all the analysis and thinking we do as adults. We ask ourselves all sorts of questions. We spend countless nights lying awake, entertaining ideas, and wrestling with our souls. I tried so hard to figure out where I would end up that I often felt defeated before I even began. The over analysis gets you nowhere; it just burns more time. The reality is that no matter how smart we may be, we cannot predict the future. Things are moving so fast and we’re so interconnected that it is impossible to predict where you’ll end up five years from now.
So make your choice on what’s really important to you, right here and right now, not tomorrow.

2. Try anything. Do something.
When you take action and start doing things, you begin to feel better almost immediately. So many times, we get caught up in the chaos of life and consumed by it, until we realize that we cannot control what will happen tomorrow, but we can control the actions we take every single day. You just never know where that one step will lead you.

3. Follow your inner voice.
Don’t you sometimes feel that if only you knew more, you’d be able to make a better decision about the direction you wanted to take in life? Confused and overwhelmed by so much information, some of it can be conflicting So just let go. Let go of all evidence and start following your gut. Yes, you may stumble, fall, but but it'll eventually get better when you get back up and go in a different direction, because you’re out there doing and learning—not
sitting and waiting.

4. Believe in yourself.
When you first start exploring new opportunities to find the right direction in your life, you may find yourself overwhelmed by the competition. Of course, there are so many others just like you trying to do what you’re doing. Turning to my friends may not offer any respite, because, instead of encouraging you to try new avenues, some of them could bring you back to where you began. Such seeds of self-doubt sown within you could take you some time to recover your momentum. By taking small steps each and every day, putting aside over thinking, and realizing that you have everything you need deep within, you can find the right direction in your life. And while it may not be the direction you expected, it will work out just fine.

Touch lives with this by sharing with friends!

DISTANCE RELATIONSHIP

Relationship is wonderful between two young adults who find pleasure in each other and decided within them that a love story is worth trying.
Some people can't fall in love until they meet who they love in person, while others can easily fall in love no matter the distance.
Many said love starts with a glance at someone while others disagreed by saying they can't love someone unless they meet the person and have a chitchat first. But in terms of distance relationship, is it healthy or not? It is viewed in different angles because it can favour some people while others can't handle it. Many people believe distance relationship builds the urge to love more but to others, out of sight is out of mind. People in distance relationship tend to be jealous over little things because they will always think their partner is cheating in one way or the other in their absence. If you don't have any source of income as a man, my dear you can't handle a distance relationship due to the money involved to keep in touch.
During festive periods like Valentine day, Christmas day etc, lovers in distance relationship feel lonely most because those who supposed to spend it with them aren't there...
Thereby, making them think someone is filling the gap on that special day. If you're not strong at heart, you will die from within due to loneliness and jealousy, because weak people can't keep distance relationship. But if both of you are very honest with each other, after meeting eventually, the love will be so strong that nothing can shake it. Some people mostly ladies are quick in backing away from a distance relationship. Why? Loneliness, lack of physical care etc, and this can push them into either cheating on their partners with another guy nearby or quit entirely. Distance relationship is dangerous if not handled with trust and understanding. If you can't be faithful in the circle of distance relationship, be bold to back away instead of breaking someone's heart after years of endurance to meet you. True love can come in anyway. Love is a beautiful thing for those who understand the importance of endurance.
MY QUESTION
Do you support distance relationship?
Yes or no?
Drop your comment . Let's hear your opinion. I love you all ..

Figure this out!

A lawyer has a brother who is an attorney in Abuja, but the attorney in Abuja does not have a brother who is a lawyer. How can this be?

Mock Me Not!

Don’t Mock Me, Teach Me
Arturo Zinga

How do we respond to people who have attributes we do not like, or lack the ones we desire? Do we just reject them or mock them? And what is the essential quality in any acquaintance, friend or partner?
How often have you heard people say, I can’t marry a woman that doesn’t know how to cook? Or I can’t be with someone that doesn’t know the difference between your and you’re? I reckon that these have led to the demise of many promising relationships.

First and foremost, I love food. Ah, food is life. In Nigeria, there is a common saying that “the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.” So, I do believe a woman ought to possess great culinary skills.
However, as I grow older (and wiser I hope), I have come to accept that not every woman produces magic in the kitchen and not everybody is grammar-savvy. Nobody knows it all and we all have flaws. The shortcomings of the geniuses among us may come easily to those with the lowest of IQs.
As a consequence, I now realise everyone has something to teach you and what really matters is being teachable. So, the most important question ought to be is she willing to learn how to cook? Are they eager to know the difference between your and you’re?
Teachability is not something you can force on anyone; it is a choice. We choose whether to react positively or negatively to other people’s views and ideas. Jazz trumpeter Louis Armstrong once said, “There are some people that if they don’t know, you can’t teach them.”
Naturally, we abhor criticism and negative feedback. No one likes to be criticised, so we develop strong resistance and reluctance to it. This problem is often exacerbated if one possesses any of the six things that can make people arrogant: power, fame, intelligence, affluence, talent and beauty. No matter how powerful, famous, intelligent, affluent, talented and/or beautiful we are, if we are unteachable, it will be hard or almost impossible for us to reach our full potential in our endeavours, careers or relationships.
Hence, being teachable is crucial in self-development and self-education. It is the most important skill in life.
Teachability is linked to having an unquenchable thirst and deep appreciation for knowledge. Your immediate contacts, friends and family are always willing to share their information or knowledge if you are willing to learn from them. Coaches and managers from all walks of life loves anybody that is teachable. They are often happy and eager to help anyone who is not conceited to ask questions.
So go ahead and ask questions for everyday is an opportunity to learn something new. And if someone doesn’t know what you know, try correcting/teaching them before mocking them.

Adultery?

...and when caught, they say something like 'Oh...I don't know what came over me, it just
happened'.
Shhhhhhhhhhhh!
Adultery doesn't just happen. Adultery doesn't happen by accident. In fact, the fallacious idea
that it does, is one of the biggest self-delusions ever perpetuated by mankind. Zips don't just open on their own and clothes don't just fall off effortlessly. No one has ever accidentally fallen onto someone's bed and miraculously found themselves sleeping with a stranger. Let's discuss BEAUTY!

Is physical beauty a perception?
Why do I consider something beautiful and others not? What are the foundations of my judgment?
Each time these questions stare at me in 3D, I feel clueless, like a mum that can’t explain to her kid “Mummy, what’s a condom?” the 5 years old kid just asked. Beauty has been a much considered quality right from the creation of man. Not so surprising why the cosmetics and the fashion industries are just very lucrative. So many things have been done to enhance beauty, from manicure to pedicure, facial surgeries, implants etc. Everyone seems to want to reduce something they perceive too big or increase the one they perceive too small. We all want to look just like the person we perceive looks beautiful in our mind. Not just the ladies, we guys too want to look good and attractive.
Let's take a look at this scenario: Three friends (guys) were once in a restaurant, waiting and thinking of what to order when three ladies cat walked in, like Milan models. The first guy rated the first lady from the right as being the most beautiful while the  other two friends went for the middle girl.
So the questions popped in again. Why did one of them choose a particular girl and the others, the girl in the middle? Does that mean the two other friends getting attracted to the same girl, signifies they both have similar image lying somewhere in their brains? Do people have a picture of what “beauty” looks like, to which they make a quick comparison each time they see something or someone. Or does symmetry and the proportion of details around an object defines beauty? What if everyone in the world suddenly all look alike, how will you judge who is beautiful and who is not? Beauty they say is in the eyes of the Beholder, But what is the BEHOLDER’S BRAIN BEHOLDING??

Be Computer Literate Or Resign – Akeredolu Tells Workers

The Ondo State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, has advised civil servants in the state to learn how to get training on the use of computers for better productivity.
Akeredolu said his administration would not tolerate computer illiteracy in the state civil service, saying it would better for the service if all the workers were computer literate. He, therefore, asked any worker that is not ready to comply with the use of computer to resign.
Akeredolu stated this during the inauguration of the Ondo State Integrated Financial Management Information System project in Akure, the state capital.
The event, held at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the governor’s office, had the state’s top senior civil servants in attendance.
According to the governor, the SIFMIS project would assist the state in generating more revenue internally and enhance good governance through the list application of technology.
“SIFMIS will support capacity building efforts aimed at erecting an institutional framework for the public service in compliance with international best global practice,” Akeredolu said.
He urged the civil servants in the state to support and cooperate with the consultant that would train them on the implementation of the SIFMIS project.

Whatsapp Hack Trick

First, it was the blue ticks that got people into trouble, now to actually hack into the next person’s WhatsApp is just a step too far. The internet is just getting scarier by the minute, and these smartphones are not helping matters either. There is a video circulating on Social media that teaches people how to basically have their friend’s WhatsApp on their phone without even noticing it.
You can only do it if you have the next person's phone, so at least you’ll be hacked by a person you love – most likely to be a life partner.
If you’re the one interested in doing the hacking, open Google Chrome and search for WhatsApp web and select the first search result.
Click on the drop down menu in a form of three little circles on the top right side of the screen.
Click on Request desktop site.
Using your poor victim’s phone,
open WhatsApp. click on the drop-down menu, then WhatsApp code.
and scan the code on your screen, and there, now you have your partner’s WhatsApp on your phone.
I hope relationships survive this because sadly, this thing works.

INEC begins nationwide voter registration April 27

The Independent National Electoral Commission says it will commence a nationwide continuous voter registration on April 27 across the 774 local government areas of the federation.
The commission disclosed this in a statement signed by the INEC National Commissioner, Mrs Amina Zakari, after a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners and Administrative Secretaries from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
It stated that the exercise would take place from 9 a.m to 3 p.m on weekdays (Mondays to Fridays), excluding public holidays.
The registration centres, according to the statement, shall be the local government offices of the commission or such other suitable locations as would be made public by the State Offices of lNEC. It stated that the decision was taken at the
meeting following INEC consultations with stakeholders including political parties, civil society organisations and the media. She said, “The exercise is intended to enable citizens who have turned 18 years of age since the last registration as well as those who did not register during the last exercise to register as voters. “It will allow those seeking transfer of their registration from one State to another or within a
State from polling unit to another to do so. “The exercise also intends to enable the distribution of uncollected Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to those who could not collect them before or since the last general elections. “It will also enable citizens who have the
Temporary Voter Cards (TVCs) but whose names are on the register to collect their PVCs,’’ it said.
However, the commission advised those who were already registered not to do so again as it is an offence to register more than once. “The commission wishes to reiterate its commitment to consolidating our democracy. `This we are going to do by ensuring that citizens are given the opportunity to register as voters on a continuous basis as enshrined in the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) well before elections.’’ It, therefore, appealed to all citizens to cooperate with the commission to ensure the success of the exercise.
The INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, had earlier said the registration exercise would continue to be a routine exercise once it commenced.

Accepting the Reality of Life

Many have been asking questions about the realities of life and how certain situations have continued to be a mystery that cannot be explained. Sometimes it is quite difficult to understand why certain events are happening which cannot be comprehended. For instance, no one can tell whom he/she will eventually get married to. Another disturbing issue that has continued to generate worry, is how the future would treat us in relation to our aspirational goal in life.
Ironically, many people have concluded that life is a game of luck which only shine on those who are destined for greatness. For these obvious reasons, a cross section of the society believe that no matter what happens to them, they must either by "hook or by crook" make it in life. These kinds of people are not interested in the exercising patient to receive the blessings of God at the appointed time. If we have to be honest with ourselves today, how many persons can beat their chest and thank God for where he has position them? Obviously,
very few can afford can do that nowadays.
Sincerely, no matter our passion to accomplish great results, our dreams would only come true at the divine appointed time. For the fact that you have been working and struggling so hard to make it in life for a long time and your situation has not changed for good, does not mean that your condition will remain that way. As long as you keep battling for the best, just know that your time to make remarkable progress would soon come to pass. If you accept the cold fact of reality that "every thing has it own time" Then nothing will shake you, even when others laughing or mocking at your present situation.
What so ever situation you find yourself toady, always learn to appreciate where God has placed you, of course things may not be well with you but never give up doing the right thing. Due to lack of patience, so many people have ended up their lives in mystery while others have terminated their lives as a result of "get rich syndrome".
Remember that if your condition is terrible today, it will suddenly get better tomorrow. Never give up, but learn to accept the inevitable concept of life as doing otherwise is a gateway to perpetual sufferings and failure.

School girl vs Father

A young lady got the disappointment of her life after she tried to scam her 'sharp' father.
I came across a Whatsapp conversation between a Nigerian girl and her father, where the young lady tried to swindle her father.
From their conversation, the young lady had asked her father for N30,000 which she claimed was needed for a school excursion to Obudu cattle ranch in Calabar, Cross River state. The sharp father saw through her 'lie'
and insisted that she must carry over the course as she said she was likely to do should she fail. The man was not moved by her reasons for wanting the money, instead he promised her that he'd pay the money 'next year' after she must have carried the course over.
See their conversation below:

10 Questions by Gov. Ayo Fayose

According to the governor, some of the questions currently begging for answer on the recovered monies at Ikoyi are:
1. Who is the owner of the apartment in which the money was found?
2. Does the apartment also belong to the NIA?
3. If the apartment belong to the NIA, when was it bought and from whom?
4. If the apartment does not belong to the NIA, from whom and when was it rented?
5. How could a whistle-blower be aware of movement of money into one out of many apartments in a building without knowing the owner of the apartment?
6. If truly the NIA was carrying out a ‘covert operation’ as claimed, was President Muhammadu Buhari not briefed of the so-called ‘covert operation’ when he took over power?
7. Was the National Security Adviser (NSA), whose office controls all intelligence agencies, including the EFCC and DSS not aware of the ‘covert operation’?
8. Was there any security presence at the vicinity of the apartment to suggest that it was being used as warehouse for over N13 billion cash belonging to the NIA?
9. Does NIA need an unprotected
apartment to keep such huge sum of money purportedly meant for ‘covert operation’?
10. How much was released for the so-called ‘covert operation’, how much has been spent and to who was account rendered up to date?

The trio: Their, There & They're

The trio of their, there , and they’re can confuse writers at all levels. The confusion stemming from these words is that they are homophones, meaning they have the same pronunciation but differ in meaning and derivation. Even though they sound the same, writing them down correctly is a different story! If you find yourself coming up blank when trying to determine which one to use, take a hint from the spelling of each:

Their has the word heir in it, which can remind you that the term indicates possession.

There has the word here in it. There is your choice for talking about places, whether figurative or literal.

They’re has an apostrophe, which tells you that it’s the product of two words: they & are . If you can substitute they are into your sentence and retain the meaning, then they’re is the correct homophone to use!

Tithe payment of N42m sparks controversy

A man whose identity has been shielded by a local church in Makurdi, Benue State has shocked church members with a tithe offering of N42 million.
This single donation in a month has caused anger in the state where workers are being owed salaries and the government struggling to pay salaries, NAN reports.
Investigations by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi revealed that the money was paid into the UBA account of the NKST Church High level Makurdi.
Although the resident pastor of the church, Dr. Frederick Ikyaan, initially denied knowledge of such offering, a copy of the church’s quarterly financial report, covering the months of January– March, confirmed the payment of N42 million tithe to the church.
The report showed that the lodgment is the highest single offering from an individual for the quarter. The money was paid into the church’s account in January. The breakdown of the church’s financial report showed an income of N56.2 million and an expenditure of N33.7 million within the same period..
The church’s records also showed that out of the income, N44.6 million was generated from tithe, while a single person accounted for N42 million.
Reacting to the financial report, the pastor said his initial denial was based on the allegations that the donor was an appointee of the Benue State Government. ”I still stand by my words that the person that gave us that money is not an appointee of the state government. In fact, he does not even stay in Benue but is an indigene of the state.”
He said there was nothing wrong with the offering and insisted that the church has nothing to hide.
Meanwhile, the tithe offering has stirred controversy in a state struggling to pay the salaries of workers. Public discussion centred on the legitimacy of the donors income, as a man who pays N42m to a church as tithe must have made an income of N420 million in the month that he paid. The amount donated is 10% of N420m which the Bible recommended as the amount of tithe for a Christian to pay from his income.
The NKST Church is an abbreviation for ‘Non go Kristu U Sudan hen Tiv’, meaning the Church of Christ Amongst the Tiv.

Could this be you?

You got angry in church and stopped the choir membership, left ushering, stopped sanctuary cleaning and every other work you were doing in church. Eventually you've stopped the church because someone spoke to you in a way you didn't like... Most of the messages from the pulpit was against you from your opinion...
Nobody called you when you were sick because according to you they did not love or care in the church...
But pls excuse me...
You've not stopped working for the boss who insults you most of the time, neither have you stopped work because your colleagues spoke ill of you...(Money was the reason)
When you were sick, you didn't wait for your boss to call you or look for you at work. Rather, you called and told him about your present condition. No complaint about him not visiting you (Fear of query or loss of the job)
Do you remember that at school, your teachers, your schoolmates and or even your best friends offended you, yet you didn't stop schooling.. You can easily miss Church but not lectures because the lecturer will take attendance which counts in assessment.
You can be late with your appointment with God at Church but you will be extra early for your visa interview at the embassy...
Who are you deceiving?
I don't blame you too much. Maybe you don't know or you don't have adequate revelation about Church...
Please, Hear Me! Church is not an "Offense Club" where all things must done to please you and you alone. According to Scripture, the first knowledge everybody must have about Church is that... It's
*The House Of God* and *The Gate of Heaven*... Genesis 28:17...
Your charisma may take you there but your salvation and spirit-led life will decide whether you will enter heaven or not. Your service to God must be with reverential fear, honor and respect. God is watching... _
